Counting carbs can be a pain. Seriously. I remember when I was younger, I used to lug this huge white book around just so I could have access to nutritional information like fat grams and carbohydrates. I guess it was the price I had to pay to have a more flexible meal plan, and looking back, I wouldn’t have done it any different.
Along comes the internet, with access to everything right at our finger tips. Carbohydrates included. Today I stumbled on a site called Health Simple Diabetes. It has a nifty little tool called the “CarbCounter” that will help you count your carbs (carbohydrates)! All you have to do is go to the site (I have it bookmarked), choose a food category, then narrow it down to the food that you are looking for. I found that the best way was to just go to the site and type in a search for the food. It has a TON of foods, from healthy food, vegan food, and junk food. It has it all! You can even set up a personal profile to save your favorite foods so you can access them whenever you like!
Take advantage of this resource now! I give it two thumbs up, but please let us know what YOU think about it!!
